Fylde Coast Women’s Aid founded

Fylde Coast Women’s Aid (FCWA) was founded in 1993 as a result of a 2-year campaign run by what was then known as The Fylde Coast Women’s Support Group. The organisation opened its first refuge, Burton House, later that year.
