Fylde Coast Women’s Aid has reached a special milestone this year, it’s our 30th anniversary! This year we are celebrating by hosting an event in Blackpool on 05/12/23
The event will include the following speakers:
David Challen who successfully campaigned to free his mother Sally Challen in a landmark appeal recognising the lifetime of coercive control she suffered.
Rupert Waterhouse, the father of 24-year-old Poppy Devey Waterhouse, who was callously murdered by her ex-partner.
Domestic, by artist Wilma Woolf, a set of 8 plates that each feature the names of women killed by men in a particular year.
The event will also include the premiere of a film showcasing FCWA’s services.
Due to the limited number of places available, tickets are available on a strictly invitation-only basis. More information to follow.
